7-9 Years Dance Classes
As your young dancers progress through our 7-9 years dance program, they embark on an enriching journey of growth and discovery through ballet, contemporary dance and jazz. Growing their skills and developing a deep sense of confidence, they will lay the groundwork for their future. Infused with creativity, your dancer will be nurtured and inspired by our specialised teachers, who create a safe and supportive environment for young dancers to explore.
Foster a love of dance
Designed for children who are complete beginners and those who have been twirling in tutus for years. Your dancer is welcome to join at any point of the year.
Your dancer will take part in an immersive performance experience at the end-of-year concert.

Ballet: Foundation Class
Our Foundation Ballet Classes follow the Royal Ballet School Affiliate Training and Assessment Programme (ATAP); an innovative programme that gives young dance students a high-quality, holistic learning experience. Ignite is the only school in Western Australia, and one of the few schools in Australia, to offer this program.

Ballet: Exam Class
The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) exam classes are an optional addition for the dancers who wish to extend themselves. Students at this age train in RAD Grades 1 and 2. The ATAP training expertly prepares students for their RAD syllabus and exam work.

Contemporary
Our 7-9 years contemporary classes focus on technique, creativity and performance. Following the Rambert Grades syllabus, students are working towards Grades 1 and/or 2.

Jazz
Our jazz classes are high-energy, developing strength and emphasising performance.
